This appeal is taken by the claimant who was denied unemployment benefits by an order of the Labor and Industrial Relations Commission, which affirmed a decision of the Appeals Tribunal for the respondent Missouri Division of Employment Security (“MDES”). For three years, Claimant Mena was an employee of Price Chopper grocery stores, which is owned by respondent Cosentino Group, Inc. (“Cosentino”). At the time she terminated her employment with Cosentino, she was working as a cashier. The cashier’s position required Claimant to stand for several hours at a time.…
