In the underlying bankruptcy action from which it now appeals, Appellant Ropes & Gray, LLP (“R & G”), filed a secured claim against the debtor, Engage, Inc. (“Debtor”). R & G represented the Debtor in various patent prosecution proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”). R & G contended that its claim was secured by virtue of the Massachusetts attorney’s lien statute, Mass. Gen.
