OPINION

TIMMER, Presiding Judge.

¶ 1 Luke Jaret Schinzel appeals from his convictions and sentences for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and two counts of forgery, challenging the trial court’s rulings on his motion to suppress. We are asked to decide whether the trial court erred by refusing to suppress Schinzel’s answers to police inquiries made after his arrest but prior to advising him of his Miranda rights and concerning an offense unrelated to the one underlying his arrest.
