Appellant Lewis A. Batty appeals from a September 17, 1996 order of the York County Court of Common Pleas reversing a decision of the York Township Civil Service *396Commission (Commission) and reinstating his discharge from the York Township Police Department. We affirm.

On April 16, 1995, when off-duty, Officer Batty operated his motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and struck a utility pole.
