OPINION OF THE COURT

McKAY, Judge:

This case is before the Court for mandatory review pursuant to Article 66, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 866 (1976) (hereinafter UCMJ). The appellant, Private Pratcher, was convicted by a special court-martial of four specifications of disrespect toward his superior commissioned officer (Charge I) in violation of Article 89, UCMJ, 10 U.S.C. § 889 1, and willful disobedience of a lawful command of the same officer (Charge II) in violation of Article 90, UCMJ.
