On November 27, 1883, an action was commenced in the district court of Wyandotte county, with the following title, to wit: “The Anglo-American Packing and Provision Company, Plaintiff, v. The Turner Casing Company, Defendant.” In the petition it was alleged that both the plaintiff and the defendant were corporations duly organized under the laws of the state of Illinois. At the same time an affidavit for an order of attachment was filed by the plaintiff, which states, among other things, “that said defendant, the Turner Casing Company, is…
