The defendant, Thomas Boykin, was charged by information with aiding another person to engage in the sale of narcotics in violation of General Statutes §§ 53U-81 and 21a-278 (b),2 and conspiracy to *560sell narcotics in violation of General Statutes §§ 53a-48 (a)* *3 and 21a-278 (b).
