On June 22, 2010, Defendant, Greencroft Goshen, Inc., a continuing care retirement community, fired Plaintiff, Judith DeWalt. In her complaint, DeWalt alleged that Greencroft violated the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”), 29 U.S.C. § 201 et seq., by firing her in retaliation for questioning the exempt status of her marketing associate position.
