MEMORANDUM OF DECISION

Before the Court for determination is an “Objection to Debtor’s Claim of Exemptions” (the “Objection”) filed by L. George Reder (the “Trustee”), the Chapter 7 Trustee in Bankruptcy of the debtor, Marilyn A. Fracasso (the “Debtor”). The dispute arises from the Debtor’s claim of a homestead exemption, pursuant to Massachusetts Gen. Laws ch. 188, § 1 (the “Homestead Statute”) in her primary residence located in Smith-field, Massachusetts (the “Residence”).
