Goodnow v. Wells

Appeal from Webster Circuit Court. Action in chancery to recover for certain taxes paid by plaintiff’s assignor upon lands, the title whereof was in the defendants or their grantors, and to enforce a lien upon the lands for the amount of the taxes paid. The relief prayed for by the plaintiff was granted by the decree of the circuit court, from which defendants appeal.
