BACKGROUND

Saul L. Bakewell was charged with driving under the influence, a Class W misdemeanor. Prior to trial, Bakewell filed a motion to suppress “any observations of Sgt. Walter Groves, III, of the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, any admissions of Defendant, or any other evidence obtained subsequent to the stop of his vehicle.” Following a hearing, the county court denied the motion to suppress.
