1Opinion of the Court

The defendants petition for a writ of mandamus directing the trial judge to transfer the plaintiff's action from the Jefferson County Circuit Court to the Etowah County Circuit Court pursuant to § 6-3-21.1, Ala. Code 1975, on the ground that the Etowah court is more convenient to the parties and witnesses. The dispositive issue is whether the trial judge abused his discretion in denying the defendants' motion to transfer this case. We conclude that he did not; therefore, we deny the petition for a writ of mandamus.
