Appeal from the District Court of the United States for the Western District of Pennsylvania; Charles P. Orr, District Judge. Suit in equity by Ada J. Everitt and another against John S. Duss and another. Decree for defendants, and complainants appeal.

Early in the nineteenth century a company of German immigrants organized a community in the western part of Pennsylvania that bore several names at one time or another but in the end was commonly called the Harmony Society. It was based upon certain religious and certain economic beliefs, and for a time prospered exceedingly. Afterwards it dwindled and came to know adversity, but it lasted for 100 years, and did not come to an end until 1905.
