In an action to recover damages, inter alia, for false imprisonment, the defendant New York City Housing Authority appeals from an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Adler, J.), dated May 13, 1987, which (1) granted the plaintiffs separate motions to deem a notice of claim previously served by him to be timely, and for leave to serve a supplemental notice of claim and an amended complaint, and (2) denied its cross motion for leave to amend its answer to assert a defense based on the Statute of Limitations and thereupon to dismiss the complaint as time barred.
