—By the provisions of Ch. 82, Acts 1919, p. 449, as amended by Ch. 65, Acts 1921, p. 143, §7839 Burns’ Revised St. 1926, the salary of county auditors, in counties having a population of not less than one hundred twenty-five thousand (125,000) and not more than two hundred thousand (200,000) inhabitants, as shown by the last preceding United States census, and whose total assessed valuation was not less than one hundred ten million dollars ($110,000,000) nor more than six hundred million dollars ($600,000,000), shall be fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) per year.
