Before the Court are the final chapter 11 fee applications for the professionals of the Debtors and the Official Unsecured Creditors’ Committee (“the Committee”). An Objection was filed by Comerica Bank, as agent for the pre-petition and post-petition lenders (“the Lenders”), to the fees of the Committee’s professionals asserting that (1) fees cannot be allowed in an amount greater than the carve-out permitted in the order approving debtor in possession financing and use of cash collateral and (2) the fees requested are excessive.
