Clarion Mortgage Capital, Inc. (“Clarion”) appeals from the Jackson County trial court’s judgment, following a jury verdict, which awarded Clarissa Wade (“Clarissa”) $8,600 in damages on her fraudulent misrepresentation claim. Clarion contends that the trial court erred in its determination that Clarissa made a submissible case of fraud. Clarion maintains that Clarissa failed to present any evidence that its loan officer, Rob Hartman (“Hartman”), made representations directly to Clarissa concerning constraints on the disbursement of loan proceeds, or any evidence that…
