The National Mutual Insurance Company, a corporation organ-, ized under the laws of the State of New York, being dissolved in an action brought for that purpose, the, appellant was appointed *134permanent receiver thereof on the 10th day of May, 1894. He duly qualified and entered upon his duties as such receiver and continued in office until he was removed by an order dated July 8,1895, under the terms of whiclrhis final accounting was directed to be had before a referee.
