Introduction

This is a patent infringement case in which Plaintiff Sevenson Environment Services, Inc. (“Sevenson”) seeks compensation from the United States under 28 U.S.C. § 1498(a) for the alleged infringement of U.S. Patent Nos. 5,527,982 (“the '982 patent”); 5,732,367 (“the '367 patent”); 5,916,123 (“the '123 patent”); 5,994,608 (“the '608 patent”); and 6,139,485 (“the '485 patent”).
