The Racine Family Court Commissioner (commissioner) appeals an order in which the *533trial court interpreted sec. 767.329, Stats., to mandate that the trial court approve a stipulated postjudgment custody transfer without inquiring into the best interests of the child. Because this court concludes that sec. 767.329 does not mandate court approval of a stipulated postjudgment custody transfer without examining the best interests of the child, we reverse and remand for further proceedings.
