Plaintiff William Wooler alleges that, while he was incarcerated at the Hickman County Detention Center (“the Jail”), various corrections employees unlawfully exposed him to the bacteria known as Methi-cillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and then mistreated his MRSA infections. Wooler sued Hickman County and three of the Jail employees, asserting Eighth Amendment claims under 42 U.S.C. § 1988 and negligence claims under Kentucky law.
