Bill was filed by appellant, in the circuit court of Cook county, against Timothy Cronin and many others, on the 21st of May, 1880, alleging, among other things, that on or about the 10th of May, 1872, Samuel J. Walker, being seized in fee of certain real estate therein particularly described, made and duly acknowledged and delivered to William Hansbrough a deed of that date, whereby, for the consideration of $25,000 therein expressed to have been paid to him, he and his wife, Amanda M. Walker, conveyed said lands to said Hansbrough, in fee, with covenants of warranty, and release of dower,…
