Pending before the Court is Defendant Mariteeh Resources, Inc.’s Motion for Summary Judgment. For the following reasons, Defendant’s Motion, Doc. No. 61, is GRANTED.

I. BACKGROUND

A. Factual Background 1

Plaintiff was employed by Dynamic Industries, Inc. (“Dynamic”) as a welder/rigger/fitter to perform work on the Mariteeh High Island A 560 stationary platform off the coast of Galveston in the Gulf of Mexico.
