Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit

Decided March 4, 2009No. 08-3355UnpublishedCited by 4 opinions

1Opinion of the Court

SILER, Circuit Judge.

Xue Rong Zheng petitions for review of the decision of the Board of Immigration Appeals (“BIA”) affirming the decision of the Immigration Judge (“IJ”) denying his application for asylum, withholding of removal, and protection under the Convention Against Torture (“CAT”). He argues that (1) he was credible; (2) he established a well-founded fear of future persecution; and (8) the BIA abused its discretion by not reopening and remanding the proceedings to the IJ. For the following reasons, we DENY the petition for review.
