OPINION

{¶ 1} Appellant, Tiyane C. Turner, appeals the judgment entered by the Kent Division of the Portage County Municipal Court. Turner was convicted of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol ("OVI").

{¶ 2} On March 31, 2007, Officer Benjamin Darrah of the city of Kent Police Department was on routine patrol. About 2:00 a.m., while assisting other officers at a traffic stop, Officer Darrah noticed a white vehicle accelerate at a rapid pace. Officer Darrah decided to follow the vehicle.
