ANDERSON, Justice.

Rashun Tionchae Moore, appellant, entered a plea of “guilty” to the offenses of aggravated robbery and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. Tex. Penal Code Ann. §§ 29.03, 46.04 (Vernon 2003). The jury assessed appellant’s punishment át thirty years’ confinement in the Institu*447tional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
