Jose Isaas Herrera was convicted of intentionally or knowingly causing serious bodily injury to his six-week-old son, J.H., resulting in the baby’s death. He argues that the evidence is insufficient to support his conviction; that the trial court reversibly erred in allowing a State expert rebuttal witnesses to testify during the State’s case in chief; that the indictment and jury charge failed to adequately specify the manner and means of the offense; and that the trial court erred in allowing the State to present certain autopsy photographs to the jury.
