Appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court (Lee, Jr., J.), entered January 5, 1987 in Madison County, which granted petitioner’s application in a proceeding pursuant to CPLR article 78, to compel respondents to award petitioner full disability benefits pursuant to General Municipal Law § 207-a.

On April 10, 1981, petitioner, a firefighter for the City of Oneida, Madison County, was injured when he fell from a firetruck he was cleaning.
