Marshall, Chief Justice.

Ranee Langley Wellborn appeals his conviction of the malice *571murder of Larry Burmeister, for which he was sentenced to life imprisonment.1 We affirm.

On May 14, 1986, the nude body of the victim — mutilated from numerous lacerations and stab wounds — was found on the floor next to the bed in his bedroom. Blood covered the body, the bedspread in which it was partially wrapped, the carpet underneath, and the walls and floor.
