Appellant Edward Santiago III was convicted of one count of murder in the second degree and two counts of attempted murder in the second degree. He was sentenced to 633 months in prison — 480 months for second-degree murder, a consecutive term of 153 months for attempted murder, and a concurrent term of 214.5 months for attempted murder.
