Plaintiff, alleging that a contract under which the defendants were cutting timber from certain lands owned by him in Calcasieu parish had expired by limitation, or, in case that it should be held not to have expired, that it had become void by reason of noncompliance on the part of the defendants, brought this suit to have it so declared, to restrain the further cutting, and to recover for timber said to have been cut before, and after, the alleged expiration, or…
