I. INTRODUCTION

This appeal raises a question of statutory interpretation that has yet to be addressed in this Circuit. Joseph Guarraci-no (“Guarracino”) appeals the decision of the Massachusetts Bankruptcy Court that the security deposit he provided to the debtor, William Hoffman (“Hoffman”), in connection with the lease of property, is not entitled to administrative priority under 11 U.S.C. § 507(a)(6).
