The parties to this litigation were the Continental Supply Company, the Texas Company, the Oxford Oil Company, the Southern Exploration Company, R, -E. Brooks, and R. E. Brooks, Jr. Eor convenience, the four corporations will be referred to as the Continental, Texas, Oxford, and Southern Companies, respectively.
