This is a rather complicated negligence case in which the principal question is whether evidence should have been admitted about a previous event in which the defendant, now the appellant, Westark Specialties, Inc. (Westark), paid a claim similar to the one made here by the appellee, The Stouffer Family LTD. Partnership, d/b/a Automotive Components, Inc. (Automotive). Our holding is that Automotive did not comply with its duty to produce evidence of the similarity of the claims, and thus the case must be reversed and remanded.
