The original bill was filed in this cause as a bill of interpleader. The Memphis Cold Storage Warehouse Company received for storage a quantity of pecans, about 69,000 pounds, •and issued its warehouse receipt to defendant, Robert E. Woodson. The pecans were stored on June 10, 1924, and warehouse receipt issued on that date to R. E. Woodson. On July 15, 1924, R. E. Woodson advised the Memphis Cold Storage Warehouse Company by letter that the two carloads of pecans had been sold to the Texas Pecan Shelling Company and further advising that he was holding the warehouse receipt as collateral on…
