CHESNUT, District Judge.

The question presented in the above case is a very narrow one of venue jurisdiction. The libelant, a seaman employed by the Standard Oil Company of New Jersey, is suing under the Jones Act, 46 U. S.C.A. § 688, by libel in personam in admiralty to recover compensatory damages for personal injuries occasioned through the alleged negligence of the employer. The Jones Act contains a- provision to the effect that venue jurisdiction shall be in the place of residence or principal office of the employer.
