MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

EUGENE R. WEDOFF, Bankruptcy Judge.

This chapter 13 case is before the court on a motion for modification of the automatic stay. The movant, Federal National Mortgage Association (“FNMA”), holds a first mortgage on the debtor’s residence, and, having initiated foreclosure proceedings in an Illinois state court before this bankruptcy case was filed, now seeks to conclude the foreclosure.
