Plaintiff Raymond Carman (“Carman” or “plaintiff’) brings this action against defendant Yolo County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (the “District”), claiming violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”) (29 U.S.C. § 201, et seq.). Specifically, plaintiff seeks damages, in the form of allegedly unpaid minimum wages and overtime wages, for his work as a damtender at the Cache Creek Dam.
