Appellant was convicted of the capital murder of Earl Verser, Jr., and sentenced to life imprisonment without parole. He raises five points for reversal. Because we find no merit in any of them, we affirm.

We first address appellant’s argument that the trial court erred by not granting a mistrial. Appellant claims the prosecutor made improper comments which called the jury’s attention to his failure to testify, thereby violating his fifth amendment rights. See United States v.
