Brian Shaver petitioned for a writ of certiorari from this Court to review the Court of Criminal Appeals' unpublished memorandum affirming the trial court's judgment convicting him, pursuant to a negotiated plea agreement, of the unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance in the second degree, a violation of § 13A-12-217, Ala.
