OPINION OF THE COURT BY

LE BARON, J.

Upon eight separate promissory notes, the plaintiff, as payee, after default of certain installments on and maturity of each note, brought in one suit an action against the defendant, as payer, to recover the aggregate amount on principal remaining unpaid. The terms of each note stipulate not only that the principal be paid in fifteen equal monthly installments, but that default of any installment renders the unpaid balance of principal due and payable.
