The State charged Manuel Nava by information with Class A misdemeanor driving while intoxicated. Tex Penal Code Ann. § 49.04 (West Supp.2014). Before trial, Nava moved to suppress the evidence that the State acquired during his traffic stop and subsequent arrest, contending that the police officers lacked reasonable suspicion to detain him. The trial court denied Nava’s motion without a response from the State or .hearing evidence.
