The first of these two actions is brought by Mr. Edward E. Cohen, a member of the bar, to recover compensation for legal services alleged to have been rendered to the defendant, Mrs. Robertine Peterson, in connection with the purchase of certain real estate and the furniture and fixtures therein, the securing of mortgages thereon, and certain transactions looking toward the sale of the property.
