The appellants were charged with forging an application made in the name of another person for insurance on his life. In three of the counts of the indictment the contents of the instrument alleged to have been forged were disclosed by averring that it “was in words and figures substantially as follows,” and then attaching by metal fasteners to the sheet of paper on which the preceding portion of the count was typewritten a printed form of such application, with blank spaces filled in and subscribed in the name of James Walker Bryant.
