Jim Hargrove and Joe Lane were jointly indicted for the murder of Middleton P. Harwell. Lane entered a plea of guilty, and Hargrove was convicted by the jury of murder and recommended to mercy. A motion for a new trial was made by Hargrove, on the ground that the verdict was contrary to law and the evidence. The motion was overruled, and the sole question presented by the bill of exceptions is whether or not the evidence was sufficient to sustain the verdict.
