THIBODEAUX, Chief Judge.

| defendant Ben James Thompson was convicted of armed robbery with the use of a firearm, a violation of La.R.S. 14:64 and 14:64.3, after a bench trial.1

*376The trial court sentenced Defendant to twenty-five years at hard labor without benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence. The trial court also sentenced him to an additional five years for using a firearm, which the court ordered to run consecutively to his sentence for armed robbery. The trial court denied Defendant’s Motion to Reconsider Sentence.
