*923Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Tompkins County (Sherman, J.), rendered April 10, 1995, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crimes of rape in the second degree (two counts), sodomy in the second degree (two counts) and endangering the welfare of a child.

Defendant, while pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church in the City of Ithaca, Tompkins County, became involved in a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old parishioner.
