This is an action at law instituted by Mae G-. Jacobs against the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company to recover the proceeds of a life insurance policy in the sum of $3,000 issued by defendant on the life of her husband, Frank Jacobs, in which she was named beneficiary. The cause was heard by the court without a jury, resulting in a judgment in favor of the plaintiff. To reverse that judgment defendant prosecutes this appeal.
