On November 16, 2015, plaintiff Darlene Cook commenced this action, pursuant to 42 U.S.C. §§ 1983 and 1988,.against defendant City of New York (“City”), New York City Police Department (“NYPD”) Officer Arturo Gomez, and NYPD Officers John and Jane Doe 1-3, alleging false arrest and failure to intervene, in violation of her constitutional rights under the First, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth . and Fourteenth Amendments of the Constitution, along with a Monell claim against the City.
