Appellant, H. L. Blake, formerly operated a wholesale merchandise brokerage business at Little Bock, Arkansas. In 1944 and 1945 he bought several shipments of merchandise from Gainor Sales Company of Philadelphia, Pa., which he resold to retailers. The instant controversy involves two such shipments made on March 1, 1945, and March 5, 1945. On September 19, 1946, the Gainor Sales Company assigned its account against appellant to appellee, Commercial Factors Corporation.
